- I have been teaching meditation in North America, Europe and the U.K. for over ten years, and also had an opportunity to teach in Turkey as the war was starting "next door" a few years ago ...
In my teens and twenties I was very active politically and this integrated into community education and counseling over the years.
So bottom line is that I know from my own experience that activity on all levels can be useful to varying degrees.
And my own activity at present focuses on supporting personal growth and clarity that will naturally express itself in a more peaceful way of being in the world, because this inner peace is far more powerful and practical than anything else that one could possibly be doing ... :)

- Everything fro Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita to science fiction and modern physics ... I'm a hopeless bookworm as it is the fastest form of travel that I know of (in the physical), and it readily transverses time as well as space!
